CCM MUSTANG found in Storage Locker Value? Interest?
Hello All :)
I am looking to find out some info on this bike I came across in a storge locker.
Its a CCM Mustang 1 Speed Green.
I am curious of its Age, Value & a fair price for this Bike.
It appears to be in very good condition chrome and paint is mint. Pedals show some wear. The rear tire is slick. Quite a cool machine.
Thank you all in advance for your help.
Cheech
I am definitely interested.
Where are you and how much? Gotta go to work. I'll be back!!!!
email me at ccmbikes@yahoo.ca
My opening offer is $300.
Hi ccmmusclebike,
Ty for the offer. I am still hoping to gain a little knowledge of the bike before I sell it, but I will consider you and your opening offer when I sell it. Could you please help me identify it? What year is it ? Is it original? Did it come with a slick tire originaly?
To answer your question I am in the Niagara Region. I will send you an email.
I have attached another pic where i wiped a spot on the fender, just too show how nice the chrome really is. Like I said this bike was in storage . Who knows for how long. Its just really dirty, but in super sweet condition. :)
Ill attached another pic after I give her a bath :) lol
Hi cheech56
It looks like a 1966. What is the serail number?
My main concern would be how many scratches. I prefer original paint!
The chrome usually polishes up nicely and it doesn't look pitted.
The seat is the wrong color, but may be the correct pan, just recovered. All else looks original.
The rear tire should be a Dunlop, looks like it might be.
NICE find!
It would look great on my wall! :-) My offer may have to go up a little!
Hey cheech66
Bike must be before 67 I had one of those sold it to a friend last winter .
Chainguard is not a shark nose also front sprocket does not have the usual CCM logo in it .
Seat looks like the wrong shape if its that old but clearer picture would help.
Serial number should be under the seatpost and somebody on here or the CCM Mustang site on yahhoo
should be able to tell you what year it is .
I would clean it up and shoot some more pictures .
If chrome and paint are real nice that bike should be worth top dollar .
Definately a rare find in that condition .
The '65 would have had the smaller red headbadge and different frame/fork decals.
I'm quite confident it is a '66 with either an "F" or an "H" serial number.
