I have one war time CCM wood pedal with left hand thread. Asking 30.00 plus what ever it cost to mail .In very good shape shape need more info just ask.
a lot of association with the wood block pedals being "war time", and it would make a lot of sense
but i was looking through my 1945 CCM catalogue yesterday to look for some information about "war time" bike colors (some people seem to put out the information, that CCM only painted bikes black during war time), and I think that this is misleading because the catalogue makes no mention of offering only black as a color choice ...... actually, it doesn't even go into colors at all, the only information you can find about colors in the catalogue is that colors are available when the "paint" is available, FYI, my war time 1944 CCM is not black but indeed original CCM burgundy paint ..... but to go back to the pedal subject,
the "war time" pedals listed in the 1945 catalogue for the mens model are the CCM zinc pedals
When were the "wood block" CCM pedals made? are they listed in any of the CCM catalogue?
Seem to be having trouble posting a picture if interested just email me . Bikehike@rogers.com
