I saw these bikes for sale, and knowing that Majestic was a Montreal company I bought them over the phone in the hope they were made-in-Canada. From what I can see I suspect they were made in Czechoslovakia. The tires say Barum, Made in Czechoslovakia, 24 x 1.75. The rear hub on the red one is stamped Favorit, a Czech company. The seat pan on the red one is metal and stamped Made in Japan. The seat on the blue one is the matress spring type.

Hey Guy's and Gal's,
I just finished painting the frame of my Vintage CCM Stationary Bike and need your help.
I require instructions on how to reconnect the speedometer cable to the wheel or whatever it is called.
One of the four rubber original "Flat Bottom Feet" is missing as well. Please advise where I can purchase a replacement.
Thanks in advance.
Take care.
Earle
Hello
I wanted to let you know about an auction coming up on the 29th of October, 2016 that you and your readers may be interested in.
One of the highlights of the auction is a circa 1895 Fane & Lavender (Comet Cycling Co. Ltd, Ontario Canada) wood frame/nickel plated men’s safety bicycle in exceptional original condition. The rims on this bike have an early CCM logo!
head badge says Cyrus,Great Western Manf,La Forte,Ind
I cannot get picture to upload.Contact me for pic. Thanks
This made-in-Canada Sterling brand is on Kijiji. The owner thinks Sterling was a CCM name. I'm not going to buy it, but I am curious. Does anyone know anything about it?
I would be grateful if anyone could tell me if any of the Sunshine bikes used a 28 hole Perry coaster hub?
I just came across one NOS. It's...you guessed it...28 hole.
i'll snap some photos in the am.
Thanks,
joe
Today I visited the City of Toronto Archives. My goal was to find advertising images of Canadian made bikes from the 1890s to 1910 or 20. Re. CCM I find that there's a gap in our familiarity of their bikes from 1900-1917. I didn't find much in the way of early advertising, but found some fun photos. The first photo I will post showed me that the stubby front fender, cut off at the fork crown, was still in style in c.1907 when this photo was believed to have been taken.
Hey Folks,
I came aross this item, but I'm not sure what it is? It looks like a wheel wing nut, but has the external thread with taper at the end, so perhaps an extraction tool rather than a wing nut? It is embossed with "W", which I thought might be "Wiley" from England, but I'm stumped. Any thoughts are appreciated!

I am in the process of redoing a Sunshine. It was stripped bare and rattled canned green.
I was wondering if anyone has pics of some of the colors and schemes used on these bikes? I know there was red with pinstripes but I want to do another color other than red 9all my bikes are red).
I also may just choose a color scheme of my own but woul love to see pics.
I will post pics of the project here...
