1936 CCM Pedal bike

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here, but I do enjoy Vintage bikes and parts.

A friend of mine would like to sell this 1936 CCM pedal bike. I'm not sure what it might be worth.

It comes complete with the original bill of sale.

Any input would be greatly appriciated.   Thank you

You should put the location of the bike as Canada is a large country and shipping is likely more than the bike is worth.

I would say it is worth 100-150.00

I would buy if it is within a few hours of Toronto.

That bike doesnt appear to be a 1936. The chainring uses a round hole to lock it to the crank and the side profile of the headbadge appears to be a later era

The W s/n 1934 as shown on the nice to have OG receipt should tell the story.More pics will and always help feed the minds out there that are so hungry with such a lean year & no CVBS events.Going to attempt a pic after all these years on Johns excellent site that is very Essential,Hang in there Friends.

Thanks. Where is the bike?

The bike is located in the Niagara Area

I will buy it if you want to sell it.

What do you want for it ?

No one else cared to post a price.

So the serial number is 1934 and the receipt is dated 1936. Am I reading the price correctly as $15? Maybe the bike was at the dealer as a trade-in or used bike. I don't believe $15 was the price new even in the Depression era '30s.

I'm not seeling the bike. I know who has it.

I'd be happy to connect you two,

Let me know, cheers

The bicycle sold for 36$ in the 1934 dealers catalogue. Can we assume that the bike was sold "used" in 1936 for 15$

Also, it is worth noting that 1934 is the last year for the CCM Columbia badge.

I had a 1941 Columbia badged bike

Bike looks like it would clean up real nice and that paperboy rack has got to be worth something .

They will hold 45 cans of beer      3 x15 packs .

would like to see more and better pictures of seat and grips etc.
