1940's Bike ... "PERRY & CO LTD BIRMINGHAM, MADE IN ENGLAND Rear Hub

Anyone have any insight into what make this might be. Picked it up today and the owner said it came with a cottage the family bought many years ago on Lake Simcoe. He was pretty certain it was from the 40's. Just cleaned the rear hub and it is stamped "PERRY & CO LTD BIRMINGHAM, MADE IN ENGLAND.

Looks like the free one from Facebook market place.

Perry hubs were used on some CCM bikes.

The serial number on the seat post clamp area of the frame will tell you the year the bike was made

if that is a CCM.

This bike was not made by CCM. It looks English.
