Owned a CCM Cleveland as a boy. It was an old bike even then. Loved it. Butterfly bars, double top tube, girder forks, 28" wheels. So fun.
Worked in Vancouver bicycle shops from 1980 to 1990, and rescued some things that were heading to recycling at that time.
Now have a 1943 CCM, which I try to keep in good form, and really enjoy riding. I got it for $3 while studying in Guelph in the early '90s. It had been hit by a car, and was very bent, very rusty, very neglected. All straight now - riding no-hands is not a problem. All chrome redone in Cambridge, and repainted by me.
