Baycrest was a house brand of bicycle sold by the Hudson's Bay Company department stores (ie. "The Bay").
Like almost all department store bikes (for example Eaton's Glider, Canadian Tire's Supercycle), they were made by an outside company (I'd bet either CCM or Raleigh). If you could post some pictures maybe we could figure it out!
