Cadet

Hello everyone, i just recently scored a whole pile of bicycles from a gentleman in Welland and one of the bikes was a Cadet (serial S33564). does anyone have any information on these? Do the serial numbers jive with the same ones from the CCM serial number list that is available online? any help would be hugely appreciated it seems like a very cool bike and eventually i plan on fixing this one up too.

Thanks Alan.

I have no idea sorry .

Thanks mister bikedenissmiley, the only information i could find so far was from pictures of this>>> http://www.flickr.com/photos/7920394@N04/4923353055/

it also had traces of the typical ccm maroon colour underneath the headbadge.

Happy New Year  to all,Alan your Cadet bicycle is a CCM that was produced for the lower price range buyer by using a range of cost savings ie; less chrome work, plain saddles etc and of course the crank assembly which in my catologues is the pressed on arm to sprocket type listed as the ` U.E.K`. Hanger not the English Standard Hangar.Anyhow these  same grade bikes were also sold with many badges, like Cadet,Hercules,Cresent for example.Recently I found a1940 CCM  Doublebar Motorbike rough but original which is badged B. F Goodrich Canada with the same crank as your Cadet.Remember less expensive not cheaper.Good luck with your restoration any other treats in your haul? Thanks JCCM Just an early reminder to mark your calender for June23 Sunday for the 12th Annual Canadian Vintage Bicycle Show & SwapIin Brantford always Good Clean Fun!
