Before Canada Cycle & Motor launched its own automobile (The Russell) in 1905, it served as an agent for a variety of different makers, including Ford. Below is a flyer issued by the company circa 1903 courtesy of Richard Costello.
In 1903, 714 Yonge was narrow frontage but had two huge vacant lots on each side. So, maybe it wasn't a showroom but a small sales office and a huge open lot. I've seen more than a few car sales companies that followed that practice.

714 Yonge Street is a all you can eat Sushi restaurant today.
Small store front.
