CCM Mustang Coaster

Hello all! i've just recieved an old CCM Mustang Coaster from my mother who bought it years ago with the intent to fix it up and it ended up never leaving the storage locker. It didn't come with any papers or owners manual and i can't seem to track down a serial number, but man oh man is this thing cool! I want to fix it up and get everything rechromed and maybe a new paint job. Any info anyone has about this bike is much much appreciated, mainly the year and possible resale value. thanks!

Can you show us some pictures?

The serial number should be on the seatpost tube. yes

Hello: Your Mustang appears to be a 1971 or 1972. You should find the serial number on the frame by the seat post. If it starts with letter C it is a 1971. The letter D indicates a 1972. The chain guard lettering changed in 1973. According to the 1972 brochure, the paint is Maze Green. Resale value is determined by supply and demand. These bikes are fairly easy to find, but yours does seem 100% complete. I would say its worth $150 to $200. There is a restored 1969 Mustang for sale on this site for $275.  Hope this helps. Enjoy your bike!

1970 if a "B" serial number or 1971 if a "C" serial number

I believe the 1972's would have reflectors on the sides of the forks.

would you take 250 ? if so, where are you located?

That rust will probably wipe right off that chrome  if you use some wd-40 and  0000 steel wool.

looks like all the original parts are there nice bike.
