I'd say they're from 1939 and 1975, but the serial number on the oldest isn't stamped like it normally is (normally the letter is right after the first digit).
Agreed, that's a 1939 or 1940 Rambler Motorbike, with a mis-stamped serial number. However, the other model is definitely not from 1975. Based on the headbadge style, in conjunction with the serial number, it's a 1966 or 1967 model, manufactured in 1966. I don't have tha particular catalogue but based on other catalogues of the era, it should be either one of the Imperial variants or another Rambler.
The newer bike has license stickers from 1967 to 1971 on the rear fender so being a 66 or 67 makes sense. Can't wait to get them tuned up and ready to ride.
