Hi I bought this cool CCM Supreme at auction but know nothing about it year etc and value...anyone familiar with this bike at all? It is in mint shape, Really appreciate your help. Scott
The Supreme was introduced for the 1980 model year and produced until the close of the Weston factory in very early 1983. This should be a 1980 or 1981 model, as the men's model was changed from Maroon to Gunmetal for the 1982 model year. The serial number may allow us to narrow that down. Tyically, it would be located near the bottom of the non-drive side of the seat tube but CCM workmanship had deteriorated significantly by this time and it could be located just about anywhere on the seat tube.
While 3rd in the CCM line at the time, it was still only an entry level model and is from what is arguably the least desirable period of the Weston era. This is not collector material but garage sale fodder. In an average market, even in ready to ride condition, I'd consider it to be a sub $100 bicycle.
Tried to add pictures but they disappear...I'll try again...
