I'm looking forward to the show - Hope the weather holds up.
See you there,
Marc
Hello Jamie I leave you an invitation on facebook for friendship and for all the CCM ads :)
Jamie: Unfortunately I won't be able to join you folks on Sunday as family commitments dictate otherwise. I will, however, be back in 2014. Have a good one!
Question ........
Will there be a food vendor at the show, if not ,somewhere close by?
Thanks .Dave.
Dave: They have a great barbecue at lunchtime.
OK where are all the reports, photos etc.? You know all the stuff that will make someone like myself who couldn't make it feel bad ha-ha...
It was a great show John, not sure of the numbers of the turnout but besides sitting in the hot hot sun all day it was a fantastic day. Evelyn and myself scored some nice pieces and I posted some photos on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/alanparkinsonproject/media_set?set=a.1015292628... Enjoy!!
Thanks Alan. Those are some fantastic photos! Looks like a great day. Glad to hear you were able to pick up some pieces.

Thought I should update and comment on CVBS /13.Thanks to all who made it to this years event which was our best to date, the weatherperson did a fine job as we had just over 500 adult guests thru the gate. All together we all helped raise 3800$ for the Stedman Community Hospice, thanks to all the people who contributed in so many ways from the shows annual sponsors to distributing flyers to flipping burgers. The crowd was very diverse as was the selection of bicycles to view , buy or parts for sale. There were many new faces as there was regulars which is really great to see.My apologies if we did not connect at the show as things were really hopping! Most anyone I talked to or have heard from since had a sweet time and will be back.Special thanks to Jody and Bonnie Varey for the Heritage View Farm venue on Tutela Heights which is hard to beat.Do not forget about the Toronto Vintage Bicycle Show July 28,I was able to attend their first event and this crew is on the right track, as well Mark & Cory Mcguire will be having their Open House on August 25 so lots to look forward to.Good Luck to both.John you were missed and at least two people asked me if I was the guy who wote the CCM book and I had to tell them to come back in a year .Anyhow thats enough out of me.One last thing is that we are trying to find the right$ place to have an indoor event in late January, more of a parts sale and swap that would help get cure the winter bluezone and maybe score that part or who knows, update when we can.Enjoycycle your Summer.Best Regards Jamie
hey Jamie thanks for the update. By all accounts another stellar day. And all for a good cause. You've got a beautiful setting, a great crew and a growing following. Sorry I missed it, but will be back in June 2014 for sure or perhaps sooner if you get the January event up and running. Cool idea to give folks the opportunity to get together in winter. All the best in putting it together.
