Tis' the season to be working and gathering parts for those projects to be ready to roll in the spring. I am looking for a fork like the one pictured in the attachment. Any help would be appreciated and wishing all ccmers a merry festive season.

Hi GT I also have a girls fork like yours that will be the last resort if I can't find the same fork. I know this fork I am looking for is a little rarer. Thanks for the offer though

If the fork stem is to long cut a piece out of the stem put a piece inside and weld back together. Have done this many times and works fine .Just make sure to take the piece out as close to the bottom as possible so your handle bar stem wil go back in with out to much trouble.
If the fork header tube is too long on the girls fork, you could also cut it to the length you need and cut new threads in the header tube. This works even better than cutting and welding/brazing, but you need the right die to rethread the header tube. Over the years, I have cut and welded the header tubes on many forks and rethreaded some as well. I rethreaded a Flyte fork from a large frame Flyte to match a small frame after I cut it to the right length. Sometimes you just have to work with what you have.
