I guess when i reread his post it does not say he wants a CCM hairpin saddle. but a hairpin saddle for his 38 CCM. i do recognize the hairpin saddle just forgot what they where called.
If you look at the 1938 brochure for a Motorbike frame, it has a hairpin saddle on it. When I look at the Brooks website, the closest would be the Brooks B135 model with those big springs in the back.
I know CCM did not make a saddle like this, the brochure states that this model came with the Messinger No. 1913 saddle with the optional Lycett No. 1826. They don't have to be these ones. As long as it is a hairpin, I think the look will be enough for me. The bike that I am rebuilding is a mix match of parts anyway. The frame is a 1938 but almost everything else has been changed.
I had a look at the ebay store that Wayne suggests. Nice site but expensive. If I could get these prices, I would part out my bike. :-)
What might i ask does a hairpin saddle look like? If you let me know I might have something.
Dave: This is a hairpin saddle like I have for my bicycle rickshaw.

Roger: I don't know of any factory equipped CCMs with this saddle, although if there is one on it, I imagine it was a replacement
