Help with a serial number

Hi all, We are cleaning up an old farm an have found the old bikes. Wanting to identify a serial number we think it is G5834 it was suggested we post a picture and see if someone can help. Thank

The dirtier picture shows it better. We feel this bike was used pre 1940 or earlier. Thank you

According to extant company documentation, CCM did not used G-codes prior to WWII. Are you sure it is a CCM?
