I may be corrrected shortly but any Ramblers I   have had my hands on have always been single cranks& doublebars.Does anyone have a single bar version of the Rambler?I do not believe the triplex was ever offered because of the all mighty$.I do have the parts for your crank if you would like to upscale.Remember Brantford,Canadian Vintage Bicycyle Show 2013 June 23 the place to be to View, Buy, Sell and admire all of the cool content that comes out in all eras Thanks to all who have and will participate,The Stedman Community Hospise is the Big Winner, Thanks JCCM

Jamie: I just checked my inventory and see that I have a 1942 Rambler with single top tube and one piece crank in one of the sheds.  As the Rambler of that period was a lower price model, I would say you are correct WRT to $$. Here is a copy of a 1941 CCM brochure which supports your cost cutting surmise; I don't imagine there was much, if any difference in 1942 models    http://s917.photobucket.com/user/dobie45/library/1941%20CCM%20Catalogue

I have a mens single bar 1941 Rambler...  It has a one piece crank in it. Hope that helps..

But, sorry, no triplex parts...  Dave
