Nice bike, The stand you are looking for is the '' combination'' stand. If you want to know what they look like, look in that 1918 cataloge that's on this site.

If you can't find that stand, repops of drop stands are around, look on the CABE.

Good bike for a total resto, or you could sell it to me and I'll do it.

Really nice bike.

thanks for the info, will check catalogue.ill think on it if the price is right???

Something I have to say about the ''combination'' stand is that it's not as wide as the repop stands or as strongly built so my bike falls over unless I park it carefully. I usually lean it againt a tree these days.

Repop stands are ''stiffer''

Getting a good repop stand would probably be cheaper and easier than getting a vintage combination stand..

pretty tough to find it seems for 28" wheel.seen lots for 26"wheel,ebay etc

Great bike! You've done a real nice job on it.

Hi  darryl

i have 2  28inch 36 spoke  hole rims  drop centre CCM that are  chromed but could be painted. One has been painted other still chrome which is not bad but would look better painted. Rims are straight no hubs but that should be no problem.get back to me at  bikehike@rogers.com      I am  in Ontario.
