Old CCM . Original chain-guard?

Picked this up today . Looks pretty original . Not sure of chain guard though . I think its a 1953. Model?

It is a 1953. I have two. One I am restoring, the other, original just like yours. The chain guard is after market

Roadworthy ....do yours have a chain guard ? (53) . Or did this model not even have one ?
