Sunshine Color Schemes and Colors

I am in the process of redoing a Sunshine. It was stripped bare and rattled canned green. 

I was wondering if anyone has pics of some of the colors and schemes used on these bikes? I know there was red with pinstripes but I want to do another color other than red 9all my bikes are red). 

I also may just choose a color scheme of my own but woul love to see pics. 

I will post pics of the project here...

I've seen what appears to OEM paint in royal blue.

Few more hours today stripping everything to metal... (note that sand blasting is much more efficient thatn chemicals (i used chemicals... yuck))

Next step will be to roll fenders and make sure frame is solid and gets touch ups where needed....

sandblasting those parts at home might take me 1 hour max

Better to sand blast for sure. Unless you were gonna leave the frame bare for a rat rod build.

I 've attached pictures of three colours used on Sunshines. I have a copy of the 1953 catalogue and it lists 3 colours. Maroon, deep blue and sky blue. The deep bue is of a 28" boys bike that isn't weathered, 2 NOS forks and the 2 chain guards were pulled from the assembly line because of dents before they were striped. You can see there is a difference in the colour. I sent you a P.M..

I can't decide if I want to go original color and paint scheme or a cobalt blue with cream striping....
