Trying to determine what year my new CCM Imperial mark 4 is?

the serial number appears to be a G but there is no G in the list of CCM serial numbers so im assuming its a C ,making it a 63.

but I read on here a comment from another member that the Mark 4 was only introduced in 64..is that correct?..sorry no pic yet but its blue/white and has chrome fenders that appear factory. Original whitwalls as they are crumbling!

No, a G prefix is correct and indicates the 1964 calendar year. This means that the bicycle could be a 1964 model or a 1965 model manufactured in late 1964. Given that the Imperial Mark IV was catalogued for both the 1964 and 1985 model years, it could be either.
