WTB chain guard and head badge for late 60s Mustang

Hi looking for a chain guard and head badge for my  coasterbrake  early to late 60s Mustang

Also would appreciate  a good picture of a green one  as I might do a repaint and can't seem to find a nice clear picture on line .

Thanks for any help you can give me

I have a repainted green Mustang frame, with all new decals.

The late 60's headbadge would actually be a decal.

I'm in an "original  paint only" phase and might sell it.

As for pictures, look for the CCMMUSTANG Yahoo group or email me personnally.

What's the serial number on your frame?

Hi I am new to this site and don't know how to email you directly .

Definately interested in seeing your frame and finding out about Decals .

My bike is currently painted black and serial number is not visible

I am assuming it is on the bottom of the bike  below the crank.

old licence sticker on the fender is from 71 but I think bike is older .

Chain guard is the only part I'm missing  seat is not original  and have after market slick on the back

but I think everything else is original  don't think it will ever be a show piece but is a good rider .

I have a couple of other muscle bikes that I have fixed up for my niece and nephew

and just finished a stingray .

Hello B F, IF your bike is 65,66, 67 it would require the early style guard. Was there any sign of a metal badge on the frame. It seems only the 65 maybe 66 had that style.Does your headtube have what Icall scallopping or is indented?I have one nos chain  guard which is needing either vinyl lettering or a reverse stencil job to make it perfect.Ido not have the head sticker at this time but I will let you know on that.On ebuy there is the sticker you need just look under CCM Maruader. He wants 10$ for it plus 10$ to send. This guard is as new cw front mount and a replated rear mount.50.00$ plus shipping. Good Luck JCCM   One other way to narrow down the year is by seeing if your fork tube tops have the built in logo on the lower bearing race cap,vs the later more rectangular style.

Hello again B F, I should have mentioned that the chain guard I have would apply to certain Mustang models from 1968,69,70 era to be correct. Thanks JCCM

Hi if anyone can help me put a picture  up and tell me how to email people on this site .

It would really help.

thanks B

JCCM    I just want to get all the original parts on this bike and maybe paint it

It will be a rider and kids will be riding it  so  your chainguard might be a little to fancy and expensive .

No sign of a metal badge on the frame but this bike was beat when I got it and has been rebuilt from end to end .

I saw those Maruader  stickers but wasn't sure if they are correct .

The chrome cap on the top of the fork does not have ccm on it .

Still looking for a picture of the green single top tube bike .

I tried to put some pictures up  with Iphoto and photobucket but had no luck with either one .

I did find some really nice new original hand  grips for it shipped from England   for under $10.00  shipping included .

Thanks for replying to my post B
