Hi! Just wanted to show off my wheel rebuild. This is part of an ongoing project to restore a late 60s SCP Cruiser for my girlfriend.
I used the original rims and hubs, but replaced the old spokes with new stainless DT Swiss spokes and nipples.
Here is the old wheel in teardown:
Here is the old and new hardware:
I hope all members are enjoying there holiday time.
I always say when you're not looking for it you will find it , or two.
I would like some help from the members, if you are able to ID these two bicycles and some history
on planet bicycles.

While riding on my Marauder, I often get stopped by people who had one before and sometimes when I ask them which one they had, between the single speed orange, the 3-speed yellow, or even the orange Wedge, they reply the green one.
I've been poking around, I know the Marauder was only in Hugger Yellow & Hugger Orange, then there's the Wedge...
All the Wedge I've seen on google are 3-speed in orange (& red?) and while looking, I dropped in another forum, one was mentionning a green Wedge as the single speed version.
Hi everybody,
I'm new to this web site. I'm very happy to join this forum.
During le Grand Tour organized by Velo Québec in August 2011 , when I arrived in Sydenham,I noticed this ad about a Vintage Bicycle Parade that was to be held the following day. So I took a campground for two days instead of one. I attended to this show , bought your book on the History of CCM, and rode that quadricycle for two.
I was already a collector of antique bicycles, but it got from bad to worse...
Hi people,
I am restoring a CCM ladies one-speed.
It has 28 x 1 3/4 Dunlop rims and a New Eadie coaster hub. Assume those are original.
The bike was originally blue but repainted red at some point and I can't seem to find a serial number on the bottom bracket or seat tube.
The bike looks late 50s to me. If possible I would like to date the bike and also get a sense of what the original seat and hand grips looked like.
Appreciate any advice. Next time I will drop in a picture of the bike.
Cheers,
Ian Kinross

Hope some folks can make it out to this. Sounds like it's going to be a good event. They'd love to have some vintage bikes there. I'm going with my '39 motorbike.

1940 bicycle ccm good rider .sorry no head bage.
I went to pick up an old snowmobile a while back and was also given this basket case Hercules (I'm pretty sure that's what it is) along with a basket case Sunshine. I would like to fix them both up. As far as replacement parts go, like seat and handle bars, the best I can probably hope for is to find something that looks correct for the period. I may be able to salvage the wheels but they would need new spokes since the old ones are badly weakened with rust. Unfortunately, the head badge was only a transfer so there is very little left of it.
