Born in 1960 in Ontario and growing up on a farm meant we rode bikes. My first was a hand-me-down from my two older brothers. I don't remember the tire size but it was most likely a 26x1 3\8 bike. Possibly a 24' but it was too big for me!

Repainted in the original red with white fenders and a coaster brake, i had the world by the tail riding this bike on the farm. Eventually I grew tall enough to use the saddle but for the first few years it was standing only.

It was a CCM and was maintained by a gentleman in Tottenham, Ontario who ran a bike shop out of his garage at his home.  I wish I could remember his name.

Fast forward many years through many carreer changes and I am now full time in the bike shop (service and retail) business. I also have a shop in my basement in Toronto and am always working on a few projects, often older CCM or Raleigh bikes that I'm restoring for a friend, customer or because I like the bike. The Vintage CCM site looks like a good resource and a good collection of like minded people.
