I have someone who would like to buy my 1949 Cadet which appears to be in very good condition, original paint with minor rust. It is all original as far a I can tell and mechanically in very good shape. I would very much appreciate on opinion on the bike"s worth.
It's in very good condition - nice paint with original pin stripes.The pedals look almost new.
Are you in BC? Can anyone comment on the value of bikes there compared to Ontario? I'm in Toronto and if it were mine I would start at $280 and go down from there. I would take 250 if offered. The demand for old bikes like this is small.
I am in Calgary. I was thinking around 250 was a fair price but wanted to check through this forum. There is a limited market for these here as well but there are a handful of enthusiasts that still value these.
