1950 CCM Double Bar Ballooner

Well I decided to take a drive out to Backpeddling in Guelph today and like a moth to a flame, I was lured by the complete originalness ( is that a word)  of this bike. It broke the bank but I just couldn't help it. I'm gonna ride the crap outta this thing! :)

aaahhhh that's why you were selling your '51s. What a great bike! It's nice to see one of that vintage still in original condition. Love the grips.

Actually, that's not why I sold the other ones. I was trying to down size a bit before moving and then I made the mistake of going to Clayton's with a pocket full of cash. I sure love it though.

ah yes that can easily happen. How is Clayton these days? He's registered here, but we never hear from him. I imagine he's busy with the early warm spell.

Those in the Guelph area with an interest in bikes should drop into Backpeddling and see him. Great lad with a great selection of bikes.

I just went up the road with it to see how it rode and it rode great. It is now half apart in my garage getting a thorough detailing.
