Beware of scam

Heads up to CCM bicycle collectors about a possible scam offer of parts.

I posted on Vintage CCM site months ago that I needed parts for my 1955 CCM.

Yesterday I received an email from a person who claimed to have some parts for me.

He posted a picture of his 1955 CCM that he was parting out.

The picture was of a bike in perfect condition that I quickly found googling images of 1955 CCMs.

Obviously I'm not going any further with this deal.

Be careful out there!

Wish these guys would get a regular job!!

I  to had a guy yanking my chain that said he had what i was looking for from some want adds on this site. I was looking for a 1896 brantford bicycle, he said he had one . I asked for a picture he sent me a picture of a Pixie motor bike posted as a picture on this site wanted 2000.00.  Be carefull   Like Jeff said i wish these guys would get a regular job

I once saw an ad for a Jo Routens on Kijiji and the guy did not ask much money for it so I contacted him. his reply asked for money to be sent to him in the UK as he moved there and then he would ship the bike to me for free.
