Sweet CCM Delivery. You said 1950? Is that the original chainring and crank? It looks to me as being a little knewer era I could be wrong . Also nice to have the basket and Reynolds tubing bonus. I know of a few without baskets out there.
Its a 1955 the xsection of the crank arms are triangle and the crank and chain ring were very dirty when I received it, thus cleaned very outstanding I serviced the bike and didnt look like it was ever apart. The bicycle originated from Quebec.Still has the 26X1 3/4 Dunlop Carrier tire on the front.
.I am missing the ring with the slot that the little locking tab fits into. I would be really grateful to get my hands on one.
The ring was stolen buy this bike thief named David that used to sell stolen bikes down on Cordoba street in Vancouver. Now believed to be busted or has left town
I also have a 1931 double bar camel back delivery frame missing the locking ring came with no fork.I.m sure something can be made using the seat post frame tube couple off a old frame and cut it down and ad to it
Just had a chat with the assistant curator of the Burnaby Museum about that bit of film and maybe organizing a ride around Burnaby this summer which would include a tour of their bits of transportation they have at the museum.
I think they would be good to us just to see our old bikes. The nice man also said the city would be pleased of we had a ride in their town and might help
I'm going to go out there next week if anyone wants to tag along...

Very nice! I did not know they had Reynolds 531 tubing on them. The locking headset is a nice touch too.

This one has 2 steel plates with a chrome cap where as that other one is a solid cast one.
