CCM Gran Tourismo

In about 1970 I purchased a new, chrome-plated, CCM Gran Tourismo bicycle at a store in Mississauga. It has white, fibreglass fenders, a water bottle, and peddal harnesses. I added a kick stand. I was wondering if any of you CCM history buffs can tell me anything about this dazzling, old bike. I rode it a bit and it still looks pretty new. It has always been stored indoors. I have had a couple of bikes since but I still like to go into my basement to look at this one. I've never seen another one like it.

Are you sure it's a Gran Tourismo? The slightly upscale Grand Prix was the chome model, at  least for 1966-1970, then went to green and red for its final year (1971). The Gran Tourismo were typically white (1968-1969) though there was a citron or blue in 1971. The Grand Prix also came standard with white, Bluemels fenders while the Gran Tourismo didn't. Both came standard with toe clips and straps. What exactly do you want to know?
