Wanted this Pedal as shown in 1918 CCM catalogue called comfort pedal this is a mens I would like a left hand thread one. The one I have has fairly good nickel would like some thing to match . But show me what you got.. Any help would be most appreciated.
someone might be reproducing those real soon (prototype is done), will let you know when they are ready!!!
I need a pair too! for my 1918 Gendron 855 restoration project.
That sound great
I could use a pair also for my 1918 Cleveland.
Still looking and wanting this pedal.
Anything ever come of this pedal being reproduced?
Hey Dave
Maybe the answer is in that "american bicycle section"
GT
thewy sold out pretty quickly, did you get a chance to get a pair?
I never even new they where available yet alone sold out . Who Made them if i might ask and was it the same pedal?
it was a contact of mine in California, I think he had all them sold in advance
he had 40 pairs done
and Greg, what do you mean by "the answer might be in the american bicycle section"? I don't get it!!!
I had a pair of star pedals made by a guy in california some years ago made in stainless. And they where beautifull .Wonder if it is the same guy.
I try to not post anymore on here, as I tend to get told to go away
maybe I am not part of the "insider club" with the wealth of knowledge
On July 28th you said you'd let us know when they are ready, Locomotion. I'm still interested in ordering 2 or 3 pairs as soon as I know where to look for them or who to contact.
yes on July 28th, I said I would let people know when they would be ready, but unfortunately only 40 pairs were made and pre sold
would you have paid $300 USD a pair?
all were presold and they were too expensive to produce so none will be made again
If you look at what you pay for a used set of rat trap pedals and then get then renickeled that price will not look so bad . Just that our dollar makes it really hurt right now.If it is the same guy that made the ones I had they where super nice. They where a Star pedals. I think most will be used on very early restored Motorcycles.
I bought 6 pairs and they are very nice
Can you email me a picture of the pedals?
Max
What does it take to get a picture of the pedals.
