Collectors' Gallery
A while back the possibility of creating a Collectors' Gallery on the website was discussed. The notion was that it would be a place for members to say a bit about themselves, their collection and their affinity for CCM.
The structure to do that is now in place.
In order to create your personal space, you must login and go to the Collectors' Gallery (3rd from left on menu bar).
Once in the gallery, find your name and click on the CCM logo. This will take you to My Account where you will see instructions on how to do three things:
1. Add a picture of yourself (User Picture)
2. Add some information about yourself (Bio)
3. Add photos of your bicycles along with a description of each (Bicycle Photos)
Hopefully, the instructions posted are clear, but please let me know if you encounter any difficulties. The key after each of the above steps is to SAVE what you have done. If you leave the page without savng it, you will lose any changes you have made.
Best,
John
Now, to find the time to do it..Great effort John
Hi John... I can't seem to post my user picture (face) photo. Says the up-load size is only 1kb max. I was able to post bike photos and a short bio. Please advise ... Thanks - Avroe. (Reg)
Thanks for the heads-up Reg. The problem should be solved now.
John
Well, I can upload an avatar but i have no ' BIO ' or ' PROFIL ' but it's enough for me.
A word about the Gallery.
There's been some great discussions on here lately regarding vintage CCM bikes. It's wonderful when knowledgeable collectors are able to share their expertise with the rest of us. We all benefit.
As to the Gallery. It was set up for collectors to share a bit about themselves and to showcase photos of their bike(s). I have no problem with someone not wanting to post an actual photo of themself, but I do want everyone to say a word about themselves and what fuels their passion for vintage bikes in general and CCM in particular and to display some photos of their bikes.
If you have any technical difficulties doing this, please let me know. We are still working out the kinks and I want to make sure everything is working as it should.
John
Hi John,
Thanks for arranging this. I can't seem to find the "profile" link for posting a bio. I've followed the instructions but don't see any link for pofile above my username.

Nice addition to the website! I've just noticed this but like Brian & bikedenis I can't seem to find the Profile link.
