Brantford Hawthorne

Here's one I've got in a box. Sorry it's the only pic I have for now. It's a very large men's frame with a Fauber crank (patent 1898?). It has the US style angled drops, typical Massey CCM pinstripes and closed fork ends. I don't recall finding a serial number on it. It had no wheels but did have partial fenders and pedals. I'd welcome any info about it.

Hello Warren, I look forward to seeing the photo of your Brantford ( Hawthorne ) . I have a 1920 Hawthorne badged CCM Motorbike & live in Brantford. Will this possibly be for sale?  Thankyou Jamie

I'm glad to see there's more out there. I'll likely get the Hawthorne out of the box after Xmas and yes, I'll likely let it go.

Pics in the New Year! yes

Also, I gather that Hawthorne was a sporting goods store in Brantford? Hence the name...

Hello Warren, Best of the Season to you & your family. Yes Hawthornes was a well known full service sporting goods store during their years with 2 locations in downtown Brantford. As kids we went there often. When you get a chance I would like to see your bike. I have a few Brantford Hawthornes items, my best being a 1920  " Hawthorne Bicycle Co "  badged CCM Motorbike. Best Regards, Jamie. My email:  mcyes1@hotmail.com /  ph 519 209 4256 Thankyou.
