Dad'sold bike

My dad had his dad's CCM Cleveland double bar bike. It is a dark blue with red inserts on the rims. IT is all original and has a good leather seat, tool puch, dual electric horns, generator, headlight, stand, carrier and sputnik rear reflector light. The serial # looks like C808 or IC808. We were wondering what is is worth as we want to find it a good home. Any help is appreciated

XCXXXX would make it 1939. With original paint and that rear rack I would guess 250 to 350 depending on location. Old bikes have a bit more value on the west coast it seems.

The lights and horns could be worth quite a bit. Prewar accessories can have value. I suggest poking around on thecabe to see if you can find similar stuff and see what it sold for.

Are you looking to sell? Where is the bike?

The long spring saddle the gibson pedals the jeweled grips all of that stuff is worth good cash by themselves .

But the whole bike cleaned up with original paint should be worth more than 350.00

Lights and horn don't look like prewar but depending what they are could be worth a good dollar as well .

There are guys on the cabe that would pay  $100.00 for the handlebars on that bike .

People seem to under value these bikes unless they are a something like a Flyte .

Your bike looks like it would clean up real nice  I'd keep it and ride the wheels off it

thanks for the replies-Winnipeg, MB
