Does anyone have a decal like this?
I bought a wood rim with red and black stripes and a decal with "Weston Ont" on the bottom half of an oval. I think I can make out the CAN of CANADA on the top half but it's hard to make out. It might be a ccm decal but could be a wood rim supplier in Weston. If anyone has a decal like this in better condition could you post a pic please?
To clarify, I'm thinking that if it is a ccm decal, it might also appear on ccm steel parts, advertising or catalogues that people have. It's an oval with WESTON. ONT along the bottom, and possibly CANADA across the top and two horizontal lines through the middle. If it appears nowhere else then it's more likely a rim supplier, and I will check the Toronto City Directory.
I have a NOS CCM wooden rim I can check as it does have a stamped logo on it.
CCM did make their own wooden rims.
I will check and get back to you with a photo of mine.
Thank you, that wood be great! ;)

Taken with a bad camera phone. I will get better ones. May not be the same logo. The one looks like a maple leaf with the letters CCM through it.
It's very similar. Very cool!, thanks for posting that. I've never seen one before.
The wheel logo, with some minor embellishments, appears on all the Weston era catalogues through 1933. The rim logo appears to be the same as appears on the 1918 catalogue cover, with the exception that Weston Ontario occupies the spot for the regional offices. So, if you want a better image to make a reproduction, just refer to catalogue covers.
