Hello everyone!
Hi everyone, I have been lurking around this forum for the pat little while, and thought I would introduce myself. I have recently got into older bikes. My first project was a 20" 1967 Schwinn Typhoon that I fixed up for my kids to cruise around on. More recently I have been wanting to get in to CCM bikes as they are Canadian and I thought it would be good to get into Canadian bikes.
So far, I have picked a 1970 24" Galaxie which I am cleaning up for my daughter to ride, I know it is not the most sought out CCM, but it was cheap and she is pretty stoked about it. Today, I was given what I think is a Marauder, but it looks a bit diffferent then some pics I have seen/ SHe pretty rough, and missing some parts, but I think it will amke a good project. I thank you all inadvace as I embark on this project as I know I will probably be asking a lot of questions.
Here are some pics of both bikes.
Thanks again, Sean
heck... good luck with te Marauder!
Welcome to the forum Sean, it's nice to fix up the undesirabe ones too as daily riders. Your Marauder looks more like a Supercycle Wedge! which are also pretty hard to come by, and awesome looking bikes. good luck with your projects! Alan.
Thanks Alan, that's probably why it looks different from other Marauders I have seen!

Hey Sean Nice Galaxy Get the varsol out and wax you would be surprised how good that Galaxy will turnout with some serious elbow grease. Make sure you take before and after pictures.
Thanks cruiserbylou. I have already stripped the parts off,the chrome is shining up really nicley with just WD-40 and steel wool. I just need to finish the rim and then put her all back together. I will post more pics when done for sure.
Another question about thew Wedge, are parts for this bike interchangable with parts for the Marauder? Can I use Marauder parts on this bike?
Thanks, Sean
