I picked up what i think is a ccm motorbike, previous owners son thought it was from the 40's but i dont think the serial number supports that if i can go by that,

Badge says Trojan, with image of soldier. Anyone know where this brand was sold? Frame and fenders look CCM. Chainring is Williams (British).

Not only the crank, but the whole bike appears to be British made. If you look carefully at the bends in the two top tubes, they are more abrupt than those on CCM frames. The back wheel is spoked 40 spokes, which is a sign that it was made in England. The name Trojan and the serial number are also a sign that it was not made by CCM. The headset is not CCM, but looks English. To sum up, it appears to be a large motorbike style bike made in England to compete with CCM in the Canadian market. It was probably made by Phillips.

Alot of the parts say made in england, but it does have a ccm front hub, rear rim is black and front is chrome so im not sure its original but the pinstriping looks to match

The front wheel looks like it was taken from a CCM bike.

Anyone know if these are original or a farmers repair job?

SCP (Standard Cycle Products) in Toronto made bikes using Phillips frames and British parts. Could be one of theirs with a badge intended for hardware or dept. stores.

Well i spent way too much time looking through bike photos and i cant find a fram that looks the same other than the ccm's but the parts dont say ccm to me, phillips seems like a possibility but i dont see a bike model thats the same sofar, cant find any mention of the trogan branding either so i still have no idea what it is but im not too hung up on it id just like to know, needs a front rim and tires but the rest isnt too bad of shape compared to what it looks like
