Hey folks can anyone help me identify the model and the year of this CCM o think os a Targa but i never had seen any with This logo on the frame it nfe a derailler Shimano RS on the rear and front and 10 speeds.
Typically,for this era, it's near the bottom of the non-drive side of the seat tube but I've seen samples with serial numbers located on other areas of the seat tube.
Based on the serial number, the frame was manufactured in 1980. However, if it was towards the end of the year, it could be a 1981 model. You weren't too far off in thinking Targa, as it was essentially that model's replacement. The Capri was the bottom of the 10 speed models offered in 1980 and 1981. I only have dealer prices but using a typical mark-up would place the MSRP in the range of $150-$175 CDN range.
It's a 1980-1983 CCM Capri. I'd need the serial number to determine the exact year.

The serial is E2-3261 its in the seat tube.
