Hercules hub and wheel. Help with approximate year?

Part 2 of the farm project.

Have this old spinning wheel with a repurposed  bike wheel on it.  Looking for any information on the year of this wheel and hub. Bonus points for any info on the bike it came from. (haha)  Hub shows Hercules brake with patented 10633. It may say patent pending? Pictures attached.

If it just says Hercules on the hub it came out in about 1908 and could be for a CCM  made bicycle. With names  like Cleveland  Massy harris  Perfect or Brantford plus a few more

The patent number appears to be a digit short. A would suspect it's 106391

This hub was used up until the time that CCM introduced the "New Hercules" (perhaps around 1918. also, the wooden rim is painted black. Most of the higher priced CCM bicycles had colourful pinstriping, at least by the mid teens. It is most likely from a CCM, but other manufacturers also used the CCM-made Hercules hub on their bicycles.

Looking through my early CCM literature, it seems that 1911 is the first year for striped CCM wooden rims on their higher priced bicycles.

Does the  wood rim have a metal liner.

The rim has a metal liner. See attached.

That makes it late teens or early twentys. At least for the rim. I thought I could see it had a metal liner, which made the wood rim a lot stonger.

Good eye Dave. Great community,  Thanks for everyones help with the information.
