I recently picked up this Imperial along with a 1938 Rambler and an old Suprcycle. The Imperial S/N is J050350. Does anybody know what year it would be? I'm guessing mid 1960s.
I'm keeping that one, but I have another in pretty good shape that I will be selling for about $500.00 as that is what I have into it. Are you into the old sleds too?

A little bit of a relevent highjack on your post but I also have an Imperian Mark 4 that i've been having troubles dating. It has a camel hump top tube like yours and a pretty ornate brass one peice head tube badge and the only serial # that I could come up with was on the outside of the left rear drop out. It is E184976. The "E" makes it seem like it's a '63 but I'm pretty sure that it's a whole lot older since it makes my '55 look new.
Ya Relic used to have sleds Back when they weren't old had a 440 Nordic. And the engine clutch exhaust was from a TNT fan and also had a 78 440 kawaski liquid cool any ways don't want rejack you post with sled head.nice whiz

I have a '72 440 Nordic and a Kawi 440 Invader!
"J" would put the bike as a 1967.
The chainguard helps confirm this.
