I rarely say it, but this is a killer find .... great, great bike
I am envious!!!
I have never seem a 1936 Flyte in that original of a condition, please take as many pictures and measurements of the features as possible to document it

My 1936 has no apparent pinstriping on the fenders and does not have the described Tripex decal.
The pinstriping on the rear of the frame wraps down towards the bottom bracket and stops about a quarter inch from where the black paint of the rear dropouts.
Thanks guys! I'm just cleaning it up, I'll take lots of good pics. Can anyone identify the chain guard? Is that a CCM thing? Did CCM make a rack for the Flyte? This one looks factory shaped for thr Flyte frame.

The 1936 catalog describes the basic carrier as having dimensions of 7 x 14 1/2 inches. The only one pictured has horizontal braces mounted to the frame which appear longer than the one on your bike. Perhaps there was a Flyte specific one though.
Well it mounts perfectly level on the bike and the parts that affix to rhe two seat stays are symmetricsll bent (like it was dine on a jig or such) and line up perfectly as well
CCM Musclebike... awesome bike! The Manton and Smith reflector, that toolbox seat!! LOVE that seat. I need two, one For my Flyte and one for my Monark Hextube. that thing is as complete are they come!

Thanks, Wayne
When I was offered it, I couldn't say no.
It looked like the seat was never adjusted in its 80 years. The head badge is worn, as if a basket had been mounted for some time. The only thing that looks incorrect is the small bolt holding the rear fender to the frame.
All Flytes are classy! But something about the black and ivory 1936 version just looks right.
Darn pics didn't show... try again...

It's in great condition Wayne, nice find! What's the serial number?
Beautiful pinstriping. Very clean. Great find!!!!
Nicer than the 1940 I got last week. I took it for a spin this afternoon. Felt good!

BEAUTIFUL.
can you share a picture of the stamps on the rims?
is there a Triplex decal on the bike close to the BB?
is the ivory pinstripped on the fenders and on the frame all the way to the back wheel? (pics please if you can)

Wayne's may display differently.
Pardon my grammar. I was having internet issues.

Do the dimensions match up?

Looks like it was made for the bike! nice.
Here's my 1936. I wish the head badge and paint on the head tube was as clean as yours.
