Looking for info on 1950 CCM Club Racer

Hello all,

I just aquired this old girl and looking to restore it.

The back hub is incorrect due to the SA hub.

I was thinking on getting a modern rear hub and have fun with it.

Neat bike and great graphics !

what do you need to know about the Club Racer?

I own 4 of them, all 4 models

there are 4 colors, Marroon, light blue (yours), green with gold head, marigold with black head

1st model M326M: came with a rear CCM Hercules Coaster brake

2nd model M326F.W.: came with a rear flip-flop hub (fix and free wheel) and 2 hand brakes

3rd model M326 T.S.: came with a 3-speed hub and 2 hand brakes, but it should be a BSA 3 speed hub and shifter

4th model M326 C.G.: came with 3 speed Cyclo and 2 hand brakes

everything looks complete on yours, should clean up nicely

you are only missing a rear 3 speed BSA hub and shifter, unless the bub on there is BSA

John Bull racing grips

4 wing nuts

and the 9/16" racing type pedals

if you are looking for those parts, I have a complete BSA wheel set with shifter cables and pullies, NOS John Bull grips, NOS wing nuts, maybe pedals

Calvin, do you still have the same e-mail address from the last time we corresponded? If so. I'll send you the catalogue pages.

send him the page with the BSA hub as well T-mar, no SA hub in the 1950 catalog

Thanks guys,

Tom, you can email me with the old but don't use the crdesignXXXXX.ca if that is it.

Specifically I am looking for info on the back hub.

Sure, send me pics of the stuff. I actually have a n.o.s. saddle and SA ribbed cable and other bits.

Before I ask for the price of the wheels, let me first peruse the tech sheet from TMar and then I'll decide.

I have an old 80s NOS rear hub which I might put on her so it will shift better but it has that ugly rights side only rear brake lever.

Thanks,

Calvin

let me know when you decide

if you have the parts already , it will make a nice rider as-is

Hi Locomotion, what were you asking for the wheels and other bits?

I do have pedals so at least thats one less thing.

Thanks,

Calvin
