Looking for Rims & Tires for CCM

Hello,

I am new to restoring bicycles. I am looking for a correct set of rims and tires for this CCM (I think it's a 1957).

The rims that are currently on the bike seem to be quite skinny. I was told it would of had balloon tires on it originally. Balloon tires will not fit on to these rims. 

Any help is appreciated.

Those look like the correct rims but no the tires. You need 26x2x1 3/4. Backpeddling in Guelph has them for $24 a piece. They are not  a tire you would find at Canadian Tire. That is a balloon tire bike though.

Ok hotrodRob for the rims you see but...He would change the rims for 26x2.00  and for the tires ..

No, looks like just the tires need to be changed. Rims should be fine.
