Need 1970s CCM IDed

I recently acquired this CCM, with a serial number CT6990. The number would indicate 1970 or 1971. It looks like it has been repainted, the original color may have been white?

1970 Gran Turismo, Grnad Prix, Formula 1?

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

Marc

It's a 1971 CCM Gran Turismo and that is the OEM colour. During this era, CCM used a white primer coat.  In 1971 & 1972 the Gran Turismo and its successor, the Turismo, were offered in green and blue. In this case, we know it's 1971 because it doesn't have fork reflectors and the shift levers are mounted on the down tube, as opposed to the stem.

Thanks T-Mar, your comments are appreciated.

What does OEM stands for?

Do you know anybody that deals with decal replacements for that model?

Joe was selling those head badge decals at the bike swap meet a few weeks ago.

Not sure anyone is doing the fork or seat post tube decals.

Congrats on the super nice condition bike you found.
