New Guy From Hamilton

Just stumbled across this site and I was hit with the feeling of " FINALLY"!  I have only been collecting bikes for 3 years but have really grown to love the CCM's and the history of the company. I have several in my stable, no show bikes but thats alright by me. I mostly dig the ballooners but have a few skinny tire bikes. Looking forward to seeing this site grow and being a part of it. Heres a breakdown of what I got as of now.

- 1937 mens 28 inch, just frame and fenders

- Early 1940's? ladies 26" ballooner ( serial number filed off , fork crown looks different that the late 40's ballooners?)

- 1949 ladies 26" ballooner

- 1950 mens 26"ballooner

- 1951 ladies 26" ballooner ( Humphrey )

- 1952 mens 28" double bar

- 1953 mens 26" ballooner double bar

- 1954 mens 26" ballooner double bar

- 1960's mens 28" camel back ( Rambler?)

- 1960's girls 24"

Well I guess thats it for now. For anyone local to Hamilton area here is my facebook page you should check out and join.

Rob,

Welcome to the board. That's a great-sounding collection.  Whether they are show bikes or not, they are part of our material heritage and I commend you for preserving that heritage and for organizng groups such as the HVBC so that all may benefit. Well done!

Stay in touch, Rob. We look forward to your contribution and involvement in bringing the CCM story forward.
