My wife can't stand Neil Young's voice, yet loves Jonii Mitchell's. Go figure! Regardless, they're both immense songwriting talents with , umm, unique voices.

Joni is one of my favorite song writers. I was hanging around Matala on Crete and went to Turkey for some business, when I got back to Matala Joni had come and gone. Everyone was excited about her visit but I hade never heard of her...

 

I met Cary who was in one of the nicer caves.The Mermaid Cafe was the best eatery in town and the ''scratchy rock and roll'' were records I traded from some US guy who was stationed on Crete.

They weren't all that scratchy, and hey, they were free
