Older fellow from Alberta and still a bit of a bike hound

Hey Guys & too John, thanks for bringing me on board.

Alberta born and lived here all my life. Have pretty much owned & riden bycycles all my life so I have to thank my Dad for that.

When we were younger there was not a lot of money to be thrown around so my dad would buy the second hand fixer/uppers & repair them for me to ride & they were some good bikes too and I believe a couple were CCM's. If I remember correctly one was a single speed cruiser & then later a banana bike with a three speed shifter on the cross frame. Unfortunately I don't have those bikes any more as priorities changed as I got a little older.

I started going to yard sales about 15 or so years back and started to well not so much collect, but rescue some of the old bikes that were there. As of now I have 7 bikes of various makes in the shed & one, I just dug out the other day.

After looking it over found out it to be a Black Hawk Woman's bike and near as I can figure it would be a 1967 or older because it still has a bike licence stuck to it saying 1967.

Anyways I will upload some pics of the CCM.s and others to try and get them dated. For today though I will pop a pic of my CCM Sunsport with a Sturmey Archer 3 speed.
