The spokes on the front wheel screw into the hub and the rim just like the rear ones do. I tried to turn the spokes with vice grips close to the hub and close to the rim but they would not turn. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, David

John I would go on The Wheelmen site and ask your question there.i am sure someone can give you good dirrection on your bike there. You will have to register with a pass word if you have not already done that.Or get back to me at bikehike@rogers.com and i will put you in contact with a friend that am sure could help as him has many Penny farthing bikes. Also you have a very nice bike from what I can see.
A picture of the hub and rim would help. The spokes might screw into the hub but there were other ways . Hard to tell with out a picture to help.
