cool, it would be nice to know what brands they used on the earlier bikes. i have a 1949 rambler/motorbike that came with a "Lemet" seat made in Holland. i did a bit of research on it and to my surprise Brooks ended up buying out this company in the early 50's. so my guess is that it could be original, but i also can't imagine CCM using a Dutch seat on a Canadian bicycle either.

Some other seats that CCM used were Dunlop and Avon. My 37 CCM Boy Scout came with a beautiful fully sprung Dunlop Saddle( which was probably made in england) as shown in the 37 CCM Catalogue. Also CCM used Avon(which I beleave is also English) on there CCM Balloon tire bikes of the later 40`s. Avon made a ladies version as well as a men`s version. I can`t totally back this up ( but have talked to other CCM affectionados that say so)as I don`t have a 47` CCM Catalogue, so if any one has one it would be apreciated if they would post a picture of a CCM Standard Balloon Tire Bicycle.
sold a 1937 CCM and it had a Troxel, I believe it was original...

wow, this is great. I had no idea Dunlop was making saddles as well. Thanks very much for the Info/history lesson.
