I have acquired a ccm bike sn 3c5565. It has olympic 20 seat. The tires say Norco made in Tiawan. There was a wright brothers made in england plate that came with it. It says rambler on frame. Thanks

Hi, The serial number indicates that the frame was made in 1939. The Wright's tag belongs to the leather saddle, and it was made by a UK company, not the famous US Wright brothers. I don't think that the fenders have the right profile. Pedals, light and grips are later. --David

John is absolutely correct. This fender known as, the 'CCM Hercules Gothic' design mud guards, was introduced in 1939 on the Rambler model with 28 inch tires (based on catalogue information). Although I believe they were used from 1939 up to and including 1942 (prior to War-Time specification introduction).

CCM used this style of fender for about a year - they are correct for the bike. I have had several CCM's from the same time period with these fenders.
