Set of wheels, 26x 1-3/4 WO Dunlop w CCM 37 hub
I have a set of dunlop weatwood chrome wheels that I want to trade for a double bar frame. They were painted grey at some point in their life and it seems to have done a pretty good job protecting the chrome. The only markings i can find on the front hub just says "made in england"
The wheels came from a 1938 single bar frame. I suspect it was a first year balloon tire but I cannot be sure. It has a wide fork (much wider than my 42 special w 28 inch wheels) w chrome trim. Other than those items, nothing else on the bike was of that era except the seat post.
The problem is that when the wheels are on the frame, the pedals get far too close to the ground. Im not sure if CCM messed up their first model of balloon tire or what. I would trade the frame w the wheels if the right deal came along but the frame is pretty rough.
Regardless, im in Victoria and cant make the swap meet so if you're interested shoot me a message. Same user as here at gmail.
